Clatsop Animal Assistance works tirelessly to promote adoptions at the shelter.
We have several ADOPTION STRATEGIES.  These include showing animals at locations such as

Our booth at the Astoria Sunday Market
Adoptathons at various locations
Distribution of Monthly Adoption Posters
Newspaper and Radio Ads
Press Events, Promotions, and Outreach Activities
Cat Shows and Dog Shows

Finding homes for these animals is a labor of love.

Volunteers are always needed for these and other events held throughout the year.

Great Opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day.
 
Volunteers can help at the shelter too.  They can walk dogs, work in the Cat Adoption Room, Provide Temporary Foster Care, and help get animals out in front of the public.
 We get lots of invitations to bring animals to various gatherings but are too short-staffed to accept.  You can make a difference!
