MISSION STATEMENT
Clatsop Animal Assistance, also known as CAA, is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to helping domestic pets in Clatsop County. Ours is a three-fold mission:
#1 We assist the homeless dogs and cats at the Clatsop County Animal Control and Shelter by providing food, medicines, cat litter, toys, vet visits, grooming, promotional advertising, and other beneficial items. We do this because some of these are either not covered by the shelter budget, or there is an immediate need where there is not time to access the funding.
#2 We seek to help reduce pet over population by providing spay/neuter certificates to low income pet owners.
#3 We strive to provide financial assistance to low income pet owners whose pets are in need of one time care.
All our members are volunteers. We have an membership, and there are no dues. We hold several adoption events and fund raisers throughout the year. Our work relies solely on your tax deductible donations.
